Todays Findings:
Lots of foam air cleaner type material in bottom of gas tank. Removed.
In tank pump very defective and lost it's screen filter, also removed.
Pin 10(12) of Control Unit Acceleration Enrichment module is shorted to ground. Removed throttle body and adjusted.
Found on wire on the above module that IAW manual s/b on pin 5(12), however it is on pin 7(12)
Found pin 5(12) and 11(12) are jumpered to ground.
3mm vacume lines are all orginal with the funkey squeeze clamps. Very brittle, bought 6ft. of new line.
Hooked up spare in-tank pump to my digital powersupply and it pulls .22Amps at 12.51Vdc.
In-tank pump, external pump and associated wiring pull a total of 6.52Amps at 13.30Vdc.
Purolator PM4193 filter is attached to spare in-tank filter.
Also lots of plastic and metal shavings were found in the bottom of the gas tank.
I also need someone to verify some wiring of the Control Unit Accelator Enrichment module. I need for a lister to actually pull both the 12 and 8 pin connector and identify the wire colors as the book is wrong or the car was wired wrong.
Thanks

Don't trust any book on the wire coding. Only trust the year model update book and the manual supplements for that year in question.
How do I know, try to find a faulty relay in the AC and trace in through 4 books and finally found a diagram I could trust. And it was the last relay I didn't check after giving up for a week and doing some brainstorming.
