I think my converter is guncked up and the car is very slow in acceleration, so I vant to remove the catalytic converter but keep the oxigen sensor. This action will change the car in performance and fuel consumption?
No problem about emmisions in this country.

Yes there is a solution. Disconnect the Oxy sensor and remove the head pipe/Catalytic converter from the car. Put on a dust mask and take a long metal rod and proceed to knock the stuffing out of your cat. You will want a dust mast because I know this is a dusty job, as I had to do it on my '81 924 so I could drive to work a few years ago. It might be a bit easier to cut the cat off all together and to install a piece of pipe instead though.
Good luck,
Revis
