The lower end was rebuilt before this new head gasket was put in - this one blew and car has been run for probably an hour. The coolant and oil is still in it. I willl get that stuff out of there tomorrow- any way to check if it will again need bearings, etc? |

When I bought my 931, it leaked oil onto the J-pipe. It was leaking from the oil pressure sender.

Drain the cappuccino oil out immediately or as soon as you possibly can! The easiest way to check to see if there's been any harm, is to check your oil pressure after you fix the head gasket. If it's changed, dropped, etc. then it's probably due to some bearing damage. But if you get that oil out of there right away it should be fine! Make sure the oil is actually contaminated once you drain it (you may have a bad head gasket, but no coolant in the oil, is the oil contaminated for sure? Drain anyway, as fast as you can, for security.)
Also when you do the head gasket make sure to drain the coolant too, because when you take a head off the coolant will just go into the cylinders if not drained, then find it's way into the oil pan, and destroy acid prone stuff like bearings.
