Any reason why this product wouldn't work for some exhaust gaskes on the 2.0???? The original gaskets had metal on them, i'm not sure if this material does or not. http://www.amazon.com/Mr-Gasket-5960-Ultra-Exhaust/dp/B000BWAPHA/ref=pd_sbs_auto_1 _________________ =====>Alex<=====

I use it on the flange between the cat and header pipe. It has to be tight (no leaks) or it will fail fast. _________________ Rick

How well do you think it would work inbetween the manifold and the head? And also inbetween the manifold and the down pipe? Because those are the Two places i need to replace the gaskets. If it works for those two places, i'll purchase it and then i can patch up the cat area too. _________________ =====>Alex<=====

It should be fine there but like I said, it needs to be leak free or the hot exhaust will eat it away fast. _________________ Rick
