clutch choice for v8 swap

this is for the people that have done a v8 swap and run the transaxle
what did you do for clutch discs
that is really the on part that would be hard if you wanted to use the stock torque tube
did u find a clutch disc the rite size or did you have to have one made

If you have a 924 turbo/944 all you need is a Chrysler disc. Any one with a 1" x 23 spline. They make them up to 12"

If you have a 924 N/A (early) you are stuck with a 9 1/4" Ford disc. (13/16 x 24 spline)

What years on the cryslers and fords also what vehicles

I believe the ford is a bronco clutch..do a search, it's been covered.

Well I looked it up and I believe a Chevy v8 uses a 11 3/8 disc if u use the 944 tranny with the 1"shaft.& 23 splines a disc out of a 85 dodge 1/2 ton will fit perfectly
