No, it's got smaller shafts throughout, was not built for that much power.
Look for a 944 gearbox. The gearing might be a little bit different in 3rd and 4th as I recall, but it should bolt right in without problems.

Hallo again Scott.I find today a gearbox from 1988 944S and i need to know if this one is a bolt in piece for my 1987 924S.Thanks.

I believe it will bolt in but there are some differences. It is a stronger gear box but has plug ins for the speedo and such that the 924S will not use. How this will effect the box or the surrounding materials ... I do not know. |
