I started a post on the rennlist.org board about swaping in a VW 1.8T. This is one out of a Audi A4 and Passat which is Longitudely mounted.
I got the motor free and just started to fiddle with the bellhousing from a 944.
Any thoughts here?

| Maybe the 931 bellhousing is a better start? Maybe you can find a converter for that, but I'm just guessing. Great to see somebody attempting a sensible transplant like this. That engine can put out some ponies while retaining the ability to be very fuel efficient. Good luck on your endeavour! |
