Hi all
just had the race car on the roll-road & dyno and it fell way short off my hopes.
first run to set timing up as it was way off 86bh at fly
third run after some playing round 100bh.
the problem is fuel or the lack of it, after lifting the cold start valve of the inlet manifold and the valve cooled down she got a little better,
8th run she came in at 115bh at the fly.
haw can i get more fuel into the motor, there was a thred on this forum about replacement cold start valves, but can not finde it (and i have search).
the motor has had a lot of work on it :-light rods, fly, cranck, head work polished, cut back valves, branch header.
it has standard pistons and all work was dun this year, so can you boys help
thanks

Time for a WUR test. Make sure your pump is producing proper pressure, make sure the WUR (control pressure regulator) is functioning to specifications, then MAYBE you can consider shimming the spring in the WUR to produce higher pressure. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

There is the Audi 5000? WUR that has the vac line to it... increases fuel delivery at fully throttle some how. Too tired to figure it out right now. _________________ 1982 924
