Take the ferry with the other "boat people"!
Even John H may come from our eastern state.

The indigenous folk don't care for white-fellas climbing Uluru anymore... the tour guides also actively dissuade you from climbing...

I haven't seen too many west-coasters chiming in... I reckon the centre of our little sub-group is around Port Macquarie...

More than happy to make it Port. Closer to home.
Now who has done the Port to Walcha drive? Starting at Wauchope and heading west uphill under power along about 100 Ks of twisting mountain roads. And then after the last bend is a magic slightly downhill straight that stretches as far as the eye can see. I can personally recommend it as the best drive yet between Port Philip and Port Douglas.
These videos dont really do it justice:

So if anyone is interested in doing that in their Porsche and bringing a video camera let me know. Its about an hour away. It meets up with the New England hwy between Armidale and Tamworth. Sydney guys turn left and Brizzy fellas go right.

ok just spoke to the fibreglasser and it seems that we might be able to get some parts to bring to this swap meet to sell. As you all know alan has moulds for the 924 to make it a 924 GT...Just spoke to the fibreglasser who is more then happy to do them, once he does my first set he will set prices from that...so get your xmas orders in early...the more people i tell him needs parts the cheaper he will do them for.!! also once i get everything all sorted with alan there will be a small fee on body kits/pieces to help him recover losses from him buying the moulds etc.. _________________ 1979 NA

I am in for the swap meet and drive. (I need to clean out the shed) then I can buy some more parts. I will need a bit of notice, as work commitments take a lot of my time these days. If someone could pm me the details when final that would be great as I don't get time to get on here as much as I used too _________________ 78 924 N/A with 944 body kit (love this car)

Hmm, Brisvegas seems to be the epi-centre for 924 action in Australia... I think there's only a couple of us from Sydney - wonder why that is... _________________ Whoever said you can't buy happiness forgot about Porsche!

Just putting it out there, I'd be happy to host a BBQ and beers at my place on the inner north side of Brisbane. _________________ 1979 931 with a 350 chev
