Why a Porsche?

He kept making the point about it being a german car so why didn't he just use a VW or AUDI.

RIP

Because the 911 became such an iconic symbol of sexy wealth. It is so funny to see a car with such status but ultimately no better a machine than a front engine porsche, dropped on a camper.

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA. 924 owners unite for a laugh.

That said, it turns the stomach a little to see such blatant waste.

Now that I think about it, why didn’t they do that with a mustang or a camero or some other idiotically popular attempt at a sports car. To see a mustang GT burning in a smashed camper, now that is a great idea.

By the look and sound of things, He was in Great Britain, where Camero's and Mustang's are worth more than old, rather plain 911's. however, I do hope he is recognized and somone who detests waste, pollution ect., sneaks up behind him and gives him a swift kick in the "bum"!

I am shocked that you guys dont know who that is.

He likes the front engine water cooled Porsche, just not the 911s.

Jeremy Clarkson is awesome and so is Top Gear!

I saw that clip a while back, and I must say I like his interpretation of the 911...

If you don't understand top gear please don't take it out of context....its entertainment with cars in, not a serious motoring program!

I think he is quite complimentary about the strength of it though!

OK he wrecked a 911 but there are thousands of them and they get crushed every day so don't get too upset...

I think Jeremy is hilarious! OK, so I don't approve of destroying Porsches, but his line about stuffing all the knobs, buttons and dials in his nose and mouth, sneezing, and coming up with a better layout absolutely had me rolling on the floor! His episode on the Carrera GT was a masterpiece. He is one-of-a-kind.
