I used wood though anything will work as long
as its not to far out there I first had a strip of metal
on the outside I didn't like that very well. So I took
it all apart & rebuilt it.
See the white strips of metal running vertical from the body
to
the front valance in this pic. below don't do anything like this its
to much for the valance and pulls it out of shape.
Time to take it all apart.
Heres one of those straps I put blue xs on it to say its a no - no.
After lots of sanding it should look something like this.
If it does then your ready for primer I used I high fill sand-able
primer made by DuPont.

Top notch work! I would have never guessed that was sheet metal and wood. _________________ Chris

Well like the summers are long.
My answer is not its short.
'Hope this summer to take some molds off some
of the things I built the front splitter for sure should be
fiberglass.
suppose I could just lay fiberglass over the top of the splitter
then use light weight filler over that then smooth and shape.
Got alot of projects goin on with it at the moment. _________________ 1979 porsche 924 Na
