| OK. Car running again, not 100% but almost. Have noticed a Coolant leak, no oil is being pumped into the coolant and cannot see evidence of water in the oil. It does not appear to be the head gasket so any idea's what it could be? |

please leave all issues in one post, no need to make a new post for each issue.
if you are experiancing coolant loss, it is possible that the water pump sleas/bearing are shot and the waterpump needs to be replaced. _________________ 3 928s, |

| no worries. It is possible that the water pump need replacing but there was not tell tale sign, i started the car up after replacing the alternator belt and re-tensioning the cam belt, fired it up took it for a spin and when i got back, lifted the bonnet i noticed the leak, checked the coolant bottle on top of the rad and it was just about empty, i know it was full because i checked it last week. |

| If it is the water pump i will need to replace it asap. Last night i drive approx 5 miles, when i got back and the car cooled down, i took the lid off the tank and there was next to nothing left in the system. Need to replace the right headlamp as well, can get one for approx £40 for a headlamp assembly from a scrap yard. Oh and some fresh tyres which are approx £200 for 4. Need to finally sport out the timing as still running a bit rough and doesn't start every time and sort out water loss. |
