on mine I removed all the old rubber coating on the battery tray but not up to the winshield area (rubber coating goes all the way up.).
I removed my old coating sanded it with an electric sander mine wasn't rusty at all in the middle section but on the edges I found one spot I could poke throught I primed only that spot then let it dry, filled it with steely. then I just painted my whole battery tray with por15, it looks like it has held good so far, it hasn't chipped or anything. |

Mine doesn't seam to be rubberized. I have a small hole right in front of the
battery. It leeks right into the passenger side floor. Fill up the battery tray
and watch it come him. What do you use as a rust stopping/ prohibiter/
primer on the battery tray and floor panels of a 924S and what was that stuff
you used to plug the whole? _________________ Red 1987 924S with plans for D Productions Kit
