Anyone in the UK know where I can get guards red touch up spray paint (besides porsche) - I tried halfords but the don't have any listing for the paint code(s) L027 or L80k. Is there any differance between these two codes? The paint code is missing from my car but i am fairly sure it is guards red (1980)
thx

Don't know about Guards Red in particular but if you go to a car paint shop they should have the codes for every vehicle. They have books and books of codes with swatches of paint to check against your vehicle. My Yellow Pages has them listed under "Paint, Varnish & Lacquer".

I tried Hellfrauds too, but apparently they just don't do it. A half decent motor factors that carries rattle cans should have some, but the colour match might be a bit iffy.
As jaf says, the best bet is an automotive paint supplier, some will even put it into rattle cans for you. Failing that its time to get a compressor! _________________ Pete
