Hi guys,
Just wanting some initial info about transplanting a short block chevy engine into the 924 engine bay. I have looked at the info about 944 transplants on the renegade hybrids site and have two main questions:
1) Are the engine mounts on the 924 the same as the 944? If not, is it easy to fabricate your own mounts given a degree of welding skill?
2) What is the current solution for mating the chev output shaft to the torque tube assy?
Thanks! _________________ 1979 931 with a 350 chev

1) Nope. The 944/924S use crossmember attached engine mounts.
2) ?
I think you need to make porschev your new best friend.
Why a Chebby? If you talk really sweetly to Adie you might find out that a Rover is better/easier. _________________ 1979 924 (Gone to a better place)
