WHAT ARE THE OFFICAL PORSCHE MODEL/PART NUMBERS ON A LSD EQUIPED TRANS.

IN OTHER WORDS WHAT F#$&#@) NUMBERS SHOULD BE ON IT? HOW DO I ID ONE BY NUMBERS OR CAN YOU?

YEA IN PERSON I KNOW SPIN IT AND SEE WHAT IT DOES... BUT WHAT IF IM NOT THERE?

If it is a 924S or 944 transmission the first two characters of the number on top of the bellhousing will identify it as a lsd or not.

It will have the form 5Z##### with the # being the build date.
If it starts with 7Q, 7V or 5Z it has a LSD

Alright whats so great about an LSD, what are its specs, ratio's. can u tell from ur VIN if you've got one? info is what i'm going for

look on the bottom of the tranny it will list the type of tranny if it has a /12 after it, then you know it has an LSD
