After a year of looking I might finally get my first 931. What sorta things should I look out for down the road after buying it? and are parts going to be really expensive?

Look at a couple of books on the subject. The Porsche Buyers Guide and The Porsche 924/944 Book by Morgan are helpful. Morgan has another: The Original Porsche 924/944/968 Book - I haven't seen this one though. There are many more. Do a search on keyword "Porsche" at http://www.bn.com - they have a big selection including the ones I mentioned. Amazon should have a bunch too.
