I just finished looking over the current issue of "9" and I must say, it's come a long way since the last issue I read. It's very well laid out, good color and interesting articles.
If you haven't had a chance to look at it, take up the offer of the free peek. It may change your mind about the DIY articles. _________________ '80 924 n/a SOLD |

I am finishing off an article about how to overhaul and upgrade disc brakes.
If that goes well then I'll do a "ditching the DITC for Megajolt" _________________ 1979 931 with a 350 chev

What did you think of the free sample issue I posted the link too? See a difference?

I think a Article on Overhauling your Disk Brakes would be nice, An article about The Supercharger(the cost and stuff and how you can get one.) And how it is installed. Last a Auto Detailing Article. _________________ What i own:

I have finished my article and emailed it away. 2000 words and a whole bunch of pics, lets hope it makes the cut! _________________ 1979 931 with a 350 chev

I havent heard anything back from Brian now for a week, email or PM. Did anyone else submit an article? I don't want my 2000 words to go to waste! _________________ 1979 931 with a 350 chev

I told him that I would snail mail him the manuscript for the article that I wrote on the four wheel disc brake conversion with photos (way more than 2000 words). From what I understand from when I submitted other articles for magazine publication, film photos, and negatives were preferred (at the time at least) for paper publications. Don't ask me why, that just what I wa told to do for submissions.
He never answered me back about a snail mail address. |

Have you read the magazine? The last few editor's columns have dealt with the issues in this guy's personal life, he sounds like one of those people who wake up one morning and suck on a 12 gauge. No offense. You never hear of Hefner writing a column that says his personal life is a mess and he's sorry the magazine didn't make it to the stands for a while. BTW, this month the 924/944/968 tech section was missing. What happened? |
