Aight, So we have a 240 at the shop that's a total and it's SR'd. My father is thinking about buying it from the insurance company. The thing is, the chassis is WAY too bent and such. So I was thinking that if he does buy it, I can steal the engine and such and stick it in the porshe. Think it'll work?

You could put a Rolls-Royce Griffin in your car if you wanted too. Putting a foreign engine in a car is a custom job, which means that you can do whatever the hell you want as long as you know how to do it.

I've been thinking about taking a 240 SR20DET and putting in my 924.

If you can find any information on it let me know.
I would really appreciate any help I can get.

I need to get something in there that's sturdy and can do big numbers

If the price is right buy the 240 anyways. Is it an S13, S14??? Either way, it'd be worth a shot. Iif the idea ends up improbable, an SR and everything but that chassis will part out for enough to turn a profit.
