I know there is people who have done it. I would like to know what parts were used to do this. I have seen it done but I am not able to contact the guy who I saw that did this. What do you know about a V8 transplant? Let me know Thanks! |

if you are going to do a v8 swap in a 924 it can be done but dont use the 924 5 speed as it was built by audi and cant handle that power, if you are doing this swap go with a 4 speed 924, 944 turbo or 968 rear end also make sure you get a heavy clutch as alot of people forget to upgrade that and just smoke it out |

The V8 swap uses the torque tube and tranny from the 951. The 4 speed is not strong enough for continued use of a high torque V8. It is not any stronger than the Audi 5 speed. You're probably thinking of the Porsche 915 5 speed, which is atrocious. |
