I would say 900 made and 500 came to the US.
Thin cloth seats, wind up windows, no sunroof slightly larger exhaust pipes? This is what I have on my car. 160hp _________________ "Never let them see you sweat"

the SE is the same as the le mans edition
the only difference is order optional sunroof, lsd, and rear wiper.
They come base with lite weight cloth seats and lite weight carpet, manual cranks, sport adjustable perch supension for the front. No rocker panel base trim but rear splash gaurds
The interiors are indentical for any market. _________________ Bob Dodd - 924turbo@cox.net

limited slip differential
plastic beauty panels on the bottom edge of the car from wheel weel to wheel well, commonly seen on the turbo 924 cars
Did you pull your option code from between the tail lights? Another thread showed you did!
http://www.kindel.com/Porsche/options.asp
Code Option Description
160 Radio "Charleston"
526 Cloth door panels
573 Air conditioner
650 Sunroof
657 Power steering
756 Special model 924S USA 1988
990 Seats all cloth
Did you do a visual check of your strut to see if it had adjustable perches (m030) _________________ Bob Dodd - 924turbo@cox.net

i dont really know where to look for the adjustable perches, are they connected to the the koni's? and i think the car does have the "beauty panels' you speak of, the 944 that i have doesn't have what the 924s se does, is it normally just painted there? because on the SE its just i guess plastic or w/e but its not painted... and yeah i did check the option code between the brake lights. _________________ Black 1988 924S SE
