P.S. I believe it's possible to get 200 streetable HP out of a 2.0...

what price is the Paeco stroker kit?

Yeah, Honda is pulling over 200hp from their S2000 engine. It will also rev safely to 9500 rpm, has 2 cams, 4 valves per cylinder, EFI and EMS. Sounds a long way removed from a standard 924.

You can get the 2.4 kit for about $1200 or so I believe.... call and get a catalog...

Yeah, the S2000 gets 240 hp.... and it's got variable cam timing too...

What do you think a 924 with 10.0:1 pistons, headers, distributorless ignition, modified intake system (BUT STILL LOVING CIS!!), web cam stage 1 (going to a custom grind next year), port & polish, big throttle body, automatic cam gear (for variable timing!) will get for HP?

We will find out...

But before the 10.0:1 pistons and the DIS system and variable cam timing I was beating Eclipse Turbo's... Best 0-60 run with the old engine was 6.2 to 60... that was more downhill with the wind to my back... average 0-60 in that car was above 6.5 and below 6.9 seconds

Lars- I am using a 944 transmission with LSD

I rev my engine to 6500 and my tires are 205/60 in 15"

I believe I shift just after 50 mph in second to go to third. I do not want a taller 2nd gear because... well, I got video to show why
