Fixed the lights on my 924 and now the ignition system faulty. You turn the key, the car starts then as soon as you release the key the car dies. Everything else works and I havent pulled any cable out as i know of. Does anyone have any ideas or have come across this problem b4

Probably just a bad ignition switch. They're plastc and tend to crack causing a small variety of elec problems. When mine went, the radio wouldn't work unless you held the key up.

when you buy a new switch, get the $36 black plastic one, the $17 white plastic one failed 1 week after I put it in |

Ry,
You may also want to check the resisted line that goes to post 15 (the post with two wires going to it) on your coil. Some models have ballast resistors and some use measured resistance wires. If the resistor/wire is bad the coil will get 12 volts during crank but nothing when the switch is moved to the on position.
