| Whats the best spot to place the actuators? Once, I lead the wire in the door through the accordion style rubber at the hinge, where I do I go to retrieve it from the inside? Do I have to remove the carpet and a panel? Or do I have to go in the fender? |

| It just goes into the panel behind the hood release lever. Just remove the lever/cover/carpet. |

You have to remove the carpet.
Actually, there's only one spot where you can mount the motors: under the lock You'll understand when you're going to do this.
I did the same thing couple of weeks ago with my wifes NA. _________________ '83 924 2.6 16v Turbo, 470hp

| I'm considering wiring it to the 12V wire for the radio. Any other places to get 12V power? |

You'll need a constant source so I'd probably choose fuse 6.
It feeds the brakes and interior lights. _________________ Porsche 924 1984 (UK import) NA

I hooked up the power wire to the neccessary source. my acuators are barely moving up and down. When I push and pull faster on the passenger plunger, the actuators on the driver moves up and down faster.
Am I getting inadequate electrical current? Or are my central door locking relay defective? or my actuators? |

id check your power rating on the actuators vs the actual supply your getting. these electrical systems are old and only met bare minimal requirements even when new, thus the fact that everything is "relay'd" ... my guess is that youll probably have to run a clean power source for the actuator relay, as they have quite a bit of draw. _________________ Eric
