just a comment about the rapid rise of the bid at the end of the ebay auction, there are a couple of companies that provide a service in which they put in a bid for you, a few minutes before the end of an auction. the premise is to not give others a chance to out bid you before the auction ends. I dont know if this was the case on this auction, I thought I would let you know about this,in case you were lookig to bid on a high dollar item, this service might save you some money, sorry I forgot the name of the company

Don't remind me Rick! Damned international currency fluctuations!

I agree with Rick, putting that level of work into a 924 is a little bit outlandish. In a 996, this is a good idea, but there are more economical ways to build a motor.

Also, I agree with the point of building the engine properly! If you take a used NA motor and put all sorts of power add ons like turbos and ECUs, you stand a good chance of blowing up your motor, along with a lot of those expensive add ons.
