On your MSD paperwork does it show the timing curve for a 924na or what you are running.
Can you tie a link or picture to this thread.
I want to see what they are saying is a good performance timing curve for this car

I got to dig my paper work out, The msd 6 has a broad apllication range theres no pic of any curve for a 924 man, augidog.

Doesn't the MSD use the stock distributor for ignition timing signals?

Yep, because of the much higher voltage generated by the MSD unit you really should take advantage of it and open the gap up on the plugs which will give you better power and combustion. If you had a gap of say .035 you could go to a .045 in most cases. I have used them on alot of cars and think they are a good and relatively cheap upgrade that anyone can put on. Still haven't put one on the 924 yet, but it's on the "to do" list....
