I'm watching that one too.

Looks like the real deal.

Waiting on a return phone call.

They have been around for a long time, the head that is. You can find articles on them in European Car Magazine.

I saw the write-up "Bolt-on Bonanza 2" which deals with this head. Seems like it is the real thing. I wonder how it compares to the head Indixx (Jon?) is developing in the UK. Is it the same sort of setup? I've got a spare head in the garage, I wonder would the price from EuroRace go down if you mailed them the head and had the work done. I might give them a call as well.

The general concensus is that Jon is full of it.

And what he claims to have been doing was changing the shape of the ports in order to increase velocity not changing the size of the valves.

We are no longer going forward with that deal. He has screwed others here come to find out.

I am hoping to get some info from Eurorace and see if we could do an exchange with them as a group and maybe cut the price down that way.

I bet we can get 10 guys who want to do that group buy.

I would be interested in a group deal with Eurorace.

I wasn't so hot on the deal in the UK, the price just seemed a little high for unpublished results. Some of the prices Jon was quoting were very high, then add shipping to Europe, it became expensive.

Eurorace has had their head/cam combo evaluated by a third party, they are in North America, and it appears they have been around for a while, especially on the VW tuning side, so that all goes in their favour. If the price was something like $800 if we all sent our own heads, that would be amazing. Even with shipping on that, which wouldn't be much even from Canada, it would be well worth it. A good billet cam alone is $300.

Let me know if you hear anything from them, I can call as well if we need to show further interest.

Word is that the head on ebay comes with a Stage II cam included even though it does not mention it. So even at $1000 it is a smokin deal from a proven, reliable source.

I just got off the phone with them, and they are going to work up a price guide for me.

When I know more I will go ahead and start a new post just for the buy.

Yahooooo!

Great, let's keep some momentum on this one, sounds promising. Like I said, if you need support let me know.

Pricing is in and the new thread is up.

They said that the Buy It Now for the head on ebay is priced well below what they will list for on the website including the cam.

We are saving a couple hundred dollars each by grouping our purchase.

I have been ready for a better head for a while now.

umm. since your talking to them and they do VW heads , maybe you could ask if they could take a look at the VAG 20 valve heads and see if its possible to mate them to the 924 . if they do custom work ,maybe ? cant hurt to ask .
