Vaughn and clan. When you guys are running in the ITB class, I would be interested to know how my other car of choice stacks up against the 924. I am talking about the Audi Coupe GT. The Blethen's race 2 Audi Coupes only a handful of these cars racing, but they are on the East Coast so you may have already run against them, so I am curious as to how close in track performance these two cars are. If you have any information or knowledge of this would you be kind enough to let me know. Thanks I know this is an odd request here on this board. I am also postin it on the Audi board.
Have a great race this weekend.

Mike I can take a stab at this one. My father and I race in the North East and once or twice we've been on track with the Blethen's and are very familier with their set up. Bottom line, their pretty quick. As you already know they usually run up at the front. It has some people scratching their heads. Right now our 924's would put us almost in the middle of a current ITB crowd. If were running at Summit Point, for example, than some of those ITB and ITC guys are turning low 1:30's than were about 5-6 seconds slower than that and were in ITA. But were also rather new at this and right now are more concerned with finishing race weekends than winning them.
Vaughan is further ahead of us in that department and can be in the top 5 in ITB right now.
I hope this sheds light on the subject.
BTW, I had heard a rumor that one of our 924's, racing without 4th gear, finished 3rd yesterday in the three hour enduro at the Glen. I have to look at the data but I might have also turned my best laps in that car yesterday in the enduro. _________________ Jeremy "I'm Faster than My Dad" Jadczak

Yeah, best lap I recorded from us at the Glen (in #35) was 2:39 and change... that was Jason driving... but that car was down on power, and Jason was only in his 2nd session, so there should be plenty more to be had.
So far, in my latest setup, I'm within 2s of ITB pole (Volvos from Hell) on my home track. These cars will be great, properly configured, in ITB. _________________ Vaughan Scott

Weel done on the Enduro. I hope to see a write up on that soon. As well, Thanks for the info on the comparison. I figured both cars would be competitive against one another in ITB. Especially once everything is sorted out.
Thanks again.
