Anyone running one of those 'Throttle Response Cams' offered by Tweeks and Automotion? I am planning on installing one on my 87 924S and am interested in hearing what kind of difference it makes. |

It's a simple subjective thing, gets you to greater throttle openings sooner; everyone's said it feels great, car feels more responsive, though of course it makes no more power than before. It just makes the throttle response linear, rather than progressive.

They're a bit like KN filter systems, only with probably less real horsepower gain. By that I mean that the subjective difference in 'feel' (a.k.a. 'response') gives you the feeling the car is slightly more powerful. |

I have one installed and initially it made a big difference because I wasn't used to the tip-in. It felt great! But after awhile when you have gotten used to it, you don't even notice the difference anymore. Would I do it again - yup! |
