For those of you that have been around for a long time, you guys know me pretty well. I started out on this board in November 2002, with a non-running 924 sitting in my garage. Without this board, the car would never have gotten running. I later sold that car and moved up to an 88 944 n/a. That car was a lot of fun, but I sold it later to finance my track 924 project. After saving up for a while, I found a nice 89 944 S2 nearby for a killer deal, and couldn't pass it up. For the first 2-3 weeks the car ran great. Then it started developing problems. Right now, I'm trying to source a new transmission nearby so I can replace the one in the car right now, which has a bad ring and pinion. I figure while I'm in there, why not upgrade to a centerforce clutch as well. So, needless to say, my time and effort has not quite been in the 924 project. But, I'm back now, and hopefully will be around a bit more to help you guys with your problems.

Here's a couple pics on how it all started:

Welcome back,

Nice collection, even if not at the same time.

You forgot to post a picture about the track car

That S2 looks bloody brilliant! Im gonna use that as the reference picture for how I want my 931 to look. Anyone know the name of those wheels?

Those are "turbo twist" wheels I think.

Yup, called turbo twist or technology twists. The ones on there right now are 18X8 and 18X10, but they have them in 17 inch sizes as well. Thanks for all the comments.

I'll hopefully get my 924 running in 2 weeks or so. The S2 gets a new transmission next weekend.

I love these cars. The S2 is my 6th Porsche and i'm not even 18 yet... Can't seem to break this expensive addiction.
