The Mazda RX4 made the list. At the time everyone thought all future cars would have a rotary engine. Like the 1975 Chevy Monza was going to, but got V8s instead. So, maybe they have got it all wrong ... |

The Nova seems more current in thinking. Recent cars have smaller turbo engines for emissions and economy, plus better handling with less weight in the nose. This could be a nice engine swap for a 924 ... |

With stats of 0-60 mph in under 9 seconds and top speed of 120 mph were the Trans Am 455 and BMW 530i 4 speeds, the fastest full 4 seater cars in 1975? I can't think of any others.
