looks like dirty water and the places you mention seem to match with the position of the sunroof...have you verified that there is no water in there and that the drain tube is not clogged? |

I have a set of these connecting rods without squirters new in a box
They are oem but I assume they came only in 1976 since yours already have the newer ones with oil squirts. |

Use a 944 cable, still available new, and modify the throttle body/carb end with screw on or solder on nipple
