When looking at early 924's what color should the engine bay be? On the 924's I have owned they have been color matched. Meaning the engine bay was painted the same color as the body color.

The vacuum actuator is located just off the battery tray and moves one of the flaps for the HAVC system. |

Found it!!! A VW vacuum actuator off a 1998-2005 turbo'd car (Jetta, Beatle, Golf) will work with very little modification to the actuator housing/mount. Please see the VW part number below.
