I just bought the whole suspension from an 86 944. Problem solved.

They are available in Europe. One of the guys on the 924 owners group in Facebook posted a link to a place that had them.

It has been mentioned on this forum by more than one person that 944 brakes work fine without rerouting the brake lines. I haven't done it myself yet but it has been done by others

I'm going to steal this thread for a bit. I need a brake booster will a 944 one fit my 924. Good 944 ones are easy to find.

Speaking of spark, my 924 has a factory fitted electronic ignition system, the car is a 1981 model, so its not a early type, could anything else better this unit, or shall I stick to it?

The stock compression at it's highest in a 924 is 9.3:1. I'd say that's pretty boostable. The 1.8t VW/AUDI has 9.2:1 and people run 16 PSI boost in those engines.

I want to convert one to TBI and get a blower for it. I don't have the money for a third project right now.

I've had both. I prefer the carbs. The exhaust sounds awesome.
