I eventually spoke to the tech at Majestic who confirmed that the rotational orientation of the piston slots was vertical when he disassembled the turbo but John stated that it did not matter.

I noticed that the vacuum diagrams you posted all include the frequency valve .If only USA spec has frequency/LAMBDA then it would seem that more than likely there are also differences with the vacuum ... |

Yes that is quite easy to find for around $20.00 however my experience with them is they are unreliable and burn out after a 1-2 years where as the 931 FPR seems to be much more durable (30 years!).

I recently checked with my local Porsche dealer and that gasket which goes between the lower and upper charge tube is actually still available out of Germany. |

I totally agree that it is wise to upgrade headlight circuits with relays/heavier gauge wiring/ceramic bulb connectors etc especially when using the higher wattage 90/100 even 130/90 H4 bulbs. |
