thx Raceboy, yes it is the front suspension I was refering to. So i could leave the bottom of the strut, which attaches to the stearing knuckle in place and replace the rest of the strut assembly?

Will 944 (series 2 ie 1987) struts just bolt in to a 924 ? The top of the mounts look different but otherwise the seem the same.
