is the fuel line that connects to the top of the fuel pump easy to replace?? can you find them easily at the local part shop???

another thing... how do i stop all the fuel leaking when i put my new fuel pump in?? the manual brefiely states to clamp a hose but does anyone know in detail what to do??

also on my old fuel pump connected to the bottom there is a round black thing... any idea what this may be? like a fuel filter or sumthin? also would i be needing to buy a new Fuel Pump Check Valve ??
