Lift the front wheels off the ground and then see how much effort it takes to turn lock to lock.

Check front tires for proper inflation.

Do an injector flow test to determine if they are all delivering an equal amount of fuel.

Do a compression test.

Are you losing any coolant?

Also be aware you probably have a lot of fuel in y ...

Welcome to the board.

If your tach is reading properly when misfiring and while accelerating, I suspect it's fuel related. Fuel filter? Fuel pump? Fuel relay?

Also check for vacuum leaks.

There might be a lot of gasoline in your oil caused by unsuccessful start attempts. If so, change your oil and filter.

M471 was definitely an option in the US for 1980 models, I owned one (Spike) that Ideola eventually owned.

Interested at what temp the fans start and what the dash temp gauge reads vs your IR temp gauge.

Run the car until its warm then measure the temp when the fans turn on.
