I have ordered some new aftermarket springs from the UK, including postage still cheaper than 38 year old used ones

I don't believe the sway bar mount you show in your photos is factory.



That'll explain the lack of information for such a mount, a previous owner must have rigged up some kind of custom setup! ...

The early intake is a lot smaller than the later, if i put the the later intake on it still hits

I wonder why they changed them for the latter models ? Better air flow maybe?

As the title says, my intake duct is hitting the hood (bonnet as we call it in Aus) when closed. It also clashes with headlight mechanisms.

If you're saying the pulse goes from the transistor to the coil terminal & then from that terminal (connection) the transistor signal is sent to the relay, we agree.

So....... do we agree that the fuel pump relay needs a signal/pulse from the coil as well as voltage from ignition switch to operate?
