I kept the originals for rebuilding later. New calipers are smooth, no issues, feels stock.

Do you have a ground strap between the alternator and block? There needs to be one. Or there was one originally. Car will not complete the circuit without it.

I have the VW calipers on the car!! No big deal, bolt on. I had the car at a shop doing the rest of suspension and brakes etc...

I will take some pics and get them uploaded. But it works.

I had mine rebuilt in CA for $150 plus shipping. I have a build thread with the info. Check your rubber bushing mounts or the belt will be out of line.

Makes sense to me. There is current to that strap. Just didn't know if it grounded through another path. But that strap is there for a reason.
