I'm not racing a 924 yet, but I do race 24HoL.
The loudon track is run as a roval, 1/2 on the oval and 1/2 outside the oval on a road cource.
There will be another 24HoL race at Loudon 26-27 October ...

I like the long rear bars. Provides some protection for the stock fuel tank (think Pinto).

Yes, the engine is bolted onto the bellhousing right now, no need for an adaptor plate

The clutch is not operational yet. Here is how it looks.

The intake from a B5 passat/A4 might be a bolt-in fit, since they are mounted longitudinal and have to clear the similar brake booster.

Thanks for that FJ40Jim, i was considering going that route,to find a 5 cylinder audi engine is like looking for a hen with teeth here.

AFAIK, the 78-earlier cars use an Audi 4speed transaxle.

Dunno if this helps, but the MB is the tranny ID code and the five digits is a date code in DDMMY format.

The fuel pump relay turns on, after it sees a RPM signal from the ignition module.

First you need to diagnose the lack of spark. If there is no spark, then the FP will not turn on.
