Another VAG diesel that is available in the USA & bolts to the 924 BH is the Audi/Volvo D24T, the turbo inline 6 2.4L version of the 2.0L 5cylinder. It was optional in 83-86 volvo 740/760 cars.

I'm not racing a 924 yet, but I do race 24HoL.
The loudon track is run as a roval, 1/2 on the oval and 1/2 outside the oval on a road cource.
There will be another 24HoL race at Loudon 26-27 October ... |

I like the long rear bars. Provides some protection for the stock fuel tank (think Pinto).

Wasn't the 924 built by Audi employees in the Audi factory at Neckarsulm?
And then production was eventually moved to the porsche factory at weissach sometime in the 944 years? |

The knee bar looks very low. I would move it above the column and hang the column from it.

Yes, the engine is bolted onto the bellhousing right now, no need for an adaptor plate
The clutch is not operational yet. Here is how it looks.

The intake from a B5 passat/A4 might be a bolt-in fit, since they are mounted longitudinal and have to clear the similar brake booster.

The pictured engine is VW 4cyl, which is completely different from either the Audi or Porsce 4cyls used in the 924. The bellhousing and starter monting are particularly what makes putting any VW engi ... |

Dunno if this helps, but the MB is the tranny ID code and the five digits is a date code in DDMMY format.

The fuel pump relay turns on, after it sees a RPM signal from the ignition module.
First you need to diagnose the lack of spark. If there is no spark, then the FP will not turn on. |
