Unless I'm overlooking something, the 15350 belt is 10x889 and is too short so a 10x888 won't work either. I did try slacking the alternator all the way and removing the water pump pulley for installa ...

I'm in the process of rebuilding my 924 and I'm having issues finding an alternator belt that will fit. The belt that was on the car is a 15350. It was a very tight fit even with the alternator adjust ...

Unfortunately I had to weld the inner spring perch otherwise I could have done this without needing an alignment. The key was unbolting the front sway bar on both sides so the A arms could drop enough ...

I'm absolutely amazed at how easy strut installation is on these cars. The old strut came out and the new one went in in about 10 min with no spring compressor. I ended up welding spring locating cups ...

So last night I hit a pothole and blew out one of the "fancy" Monroe struts the previous owner of my car had installed. They sucked for the entire 12k miles they lasted, so no huge loss... I ...

The side of the bolster is 5". The seats in to car also have 5" bolsters. I believe sport seats are 7". I do have a spare seat from my 924S. Maybe I'll dissect it to see what's in there ...

I recently purchased a pair of "1976-1984" seat covers for my '80. I won't say where I bought them as I haven't contacted the vendor yet...

Anyway, I received something a bit different t ...

The ones I bought were just plug and play. They're a sealed unit that replaces the original H6204 sealed beam lens. They fit right into the original headlight bracket and plug right in to the stock ha ...

Here is a followup for anyone reading this thread in the future:

A bad alternator can make the OXS light come on. My alternator was only putting out about 12.5 volts and only after revving the car ...

I was able to bum a wiring diagram off a friend for the O2 circuit. It appears that there's an "RPM relay" somewhere which I assume is the counter. There's also an O2 control box. The Haynes ...

As of a few weeks ago, I've had the "OXS" light on my dash come on. It was my understanding that there's a counter on the speedometer cable that turns the light on every 30k miles. I've also ...

PostForum: 924S Discussions   Posted: Sat Jun 09, 2018 3:38 am   Subject: "The Project" The 924S my girlfriend hates
My thought process was that the 924S came with the following setup from the factory:
21.5mm front sway bar
no rear sway bar
23.5 mm torsion bar

My '80 came with:
21mm front sway bar
14mm rear ...
