Why don't you sell the injectors you have to somebody with a later car and buy 4x 047 133 551 instead ( part no. assuming you have an N/A car)? These will fit ... |

I'd check for vacuum leaks first.
For your idle to rise to 2k, it'd have to be a massive leak(s) that should be easily found
