Remove the grease cap first. Insert you tachometer cable and reinstall cap. Plenty of cable length available. Secure cable in cap.

Try greasing the U-joints on the shaft. It's a long shot, but when they dry out it feels like you don't have power steering at all, even though everything is working fine.

Pump is cavitating due to leaky feed line and clogged filter.

Feed line and PS reservois are brand new and absolutely "0" leaks - it must be something else...

Turn signal cancellation spars are on the wheel. If you are sure the rack is centered (centering tool installed), just remove and realign the wheel.

The rack is the centered position - the steering shaft flat is just in a different position compared to the original rack. Can I simply reposition the the steering wheel and don't worry about it?
